Proverbs 6 LOANS - vs1-5 v1 - My son - this speaks of born
again believers -a son or a daughter of the faith in
the Bible is a born again believer -this verse speaks of guaranteeing a
debt for someone - being a co-signer -it is not wise to be a co-signer
for anyone You will suffer - Proverbs 11:15 and
Proverbs 22:26-27 v2 - guard your words, vows and
committments vs3-5 - get out of this debt - do
not so-sign...It is not wise..... Principles to Learn 1. live on what you earn 2. get out of as much debt as
possible -stay close to the Lord -tithe and become a giver -pay cash for everything -do not cosign or loan out any money
LAZINESS - vs6-11 v6 - ants are always on the move,
productive, self motivated FIND ONE LAZY ANT............ ***ANTS WORK ---v6 -everyone needs to work -life is work ***ANTS WORK HARSD - v7 -they have no leader and are self
motivated ***ANTS WORK AND SAVE - v8 -For provision a.) for the home b.) for the Lord c.) for the future -
savings/investments/budget vs9-10 - it is okay to nap and rest,
but do not be lazy v11 - the result of being lazy -
POVERTY - it means to be left without the necessities of life... vs20-35 - LUST -Lust - means an intense longing; a
craving; enthusiasm;eagerness a.) wrong lust - vs24-35 -we crave wrong things when we are
in the flesh -it can be a spirit of
lust/genrational -we must guard who we are with/what
we watch/where we go b.) right lust - there is a good
craving, longing, enthusiasm and DESIRE a.) desire is produced through
intimacy -this will diminish the less time
you spend with Jesus Christ b.) Jesus cares more about DESIRE
than about competence c.) there is an invitation to DESIRE -Jesus responds to DESIRE |
