Revelation Chapter 6 Rev
5:1-10 - Jesus is the Redeemer of the entire universe -1 Peter 1:18-19 -redeem - means to buy back; to
purchase Revelation chapter 5 - speaks of the
tilte deed of the earth -it was handed over to Satan when
man sinned in the garden of Eden. The world and all of humanity must be
redeemed from sin to righteousness. -only Jesus Christ can do this -
Isaiah 59:12-21 Rev 5:1 - a scroll with 7 seals - seals - means to seal tightly Revelation 6 - lamb - means a gentle
pet lamb; tender, kind, soft and gracious Revelation Chapter 6 - starts a
period of tribulation of the face of the earth -7 years long - daniel 9:26-27 -Revleation chapters 6-19 -
describes this time of tribulation -the purpose of the tribulation is
to deal with Israel -the church is in heaven and is not
appointed to wrath - 1 Thess 5:9 & 1 Thess 1:10 ***the church is under the
discipline of the lord Come - this is a command a.) voice of thunder - speaks of the
judgment of God b.) The timing of God is
perfect............. v2 - THE WHITE HORSE a.) not everything white on the
outside is white on the inside - Matthew 23:25-28 b.) this is a counterfeit - Rev
19:11-16 just a bow - speaks of conquering
through peace crown - the antichrist will rule
nations or the world The Antichrist brings peace, but he
is a beast - 1 Thess 5:3 -beast speaks of his character - Rev
13;1 -he ascends out of the abyss - Rev
17:8 -he receives his power, throne and
authority from Satan - Rev 13:2 vs3-4 - SECOND SEAL Come - a command a.) red symbolizes bloodshed and war b.) Matt 24:1-6 c.) the war is over oil vs 5-6 - THE THIRD SEAL - FAMINE AND
INFLATION v5 - BLACK HORSE - black is
associated with famine in the Bible (Jere 14:1-2/Lam 5:10/Zech 6:2,6) scales - represents food rationing v6 - a denarius was one days wages - a measure of
wheat is enough for one person to eat for one meal -oil and wine - speaks of the rich
who wil not get hurt too much vs7-8 - 4th SEAL - DEATH - PALE
HORSE v7 - a Command v8 - whenever anyone dies, hell
follows them -people will die through war,
famine, disease and animals -one quarter of the earth's
population dies
