Revelation Chapter 6 Revelation 6:1 - Lamb - means a pet;
gentle, gracious, tender and soft Lamb -Revelation 6 reveals the
tribulation period that is coming to palnet earth - Daniel 9:26-27 -Rev 6-19 is about the seal, trumpet
and vial judgments of God upon the earth -the tribulation period is primarily
for thr nation of Israel to bring them to Jesus ***it is not for the church ***the church is not under the
judgment of God - 1 Thess 5:9 & 1:10 ***it is the goodness of God that
leads people to repentance - Romans 2:4 COME - this is a command voice of thunder - speaks of God's
judgment is on its way ***The timing of God is perfect............ verse 2 - FIRST SEAL - THE WHITE
HORSE -not everything white on the outside
is white on the inside - Matthew 23:25-28 -this is a picture of the AntiChrist
- he is a counterfeit -he is a beast - Revelation 13:1 -
speaks of his character *********character vs charisma********** *he came to destroy *he is demon possesses bow - he wil conquer through peace crown - he will rule many nations vs3-4 - SECOND SEAL - RED HORSE Come - another command -it symbolizes war and bloodshed -
Matthew 24:1-6 -this is over oil vs5-6 - THIRD SEAL - THE BLACK HORSE famine and inflation scales - represents food
rationing v6 - one days wages will only pay
for one meal for one person vs7-8 - FOURTH SEAL - PALE HORSE -this speaks of death -one quarter of the world's
population will be killed -hell follows them and gobbles them
up vs9-11 - THE FIFTH SEAL - THE
MARTYRS -Pslam 116:15 - death and the
believer from the Lord's point of view -these people were simply witnesses
of the Lord through word and deed v9 - they died for their faith
because they stood for Jesus Christ ***LORD vs SAVIOR*** How do you make Jesus Lord? 1. salvation 2.grow daily 3. choice 4. sacrifice - under the altar
speaks of a sacrifice given to the Lord 5. Recieve the baptism of the Holy
Spirit - Acts 1:8 vs12-17 - THE SIXTH SEAL vs - this is the judgment of God
upon the earth for peoples' rejection of Jesus Christ ***people can still receive Jesus at
this time -Matthew 24:7, 29-30 -Luke 21:25-28 -Revelation 19:11 v13 - meteorite showers v14 - the topography of the earth is
completely changed vs15-16 - the earth hides from a
Lamb -they still will not repent -God continues to give people a
chance to receive Jesus v17 - wrath - means
punishment;indignation;decision (based on our decision) *wrath is always against sin and
evil *wrath is the other side of the coin
- balance *wrath is not a respecter of persons 7 classes of people are mentioned in
these verses *wrath is not for the believer
