4D - Dunamis, Devil,
Demons, Day (1) DUNAMIS - v10 -the power of the Lord is given to
us to defeat the enemy Realize 3 things: a.) the
enemy has access to us and God at all times - Rev 12:71-- b.) we do
not fight the enemy to gain victory, but from a position of victory - Col
2:14-15 c.)
our strength and authority is in the Lord - Ephesians 6:10 -we receive this authority at
salvation -it must be used in a command mode -
Acts 16 -the enemy must respond to the use of
this authority - Js 4:7 & 1 Peter 5:8-9 (2) DEVIL - v11 2 Statements: 1. his power is limited - he is just
an angel created with the power to choose 2. he will have an eternal headache
- Rev 20:1-3, 10 -do not overestimate the enemy (3) DEMONS - v12 -we are not fighting against people,
but against demonic forces Where did demons come from? 1. fallen angels 2. the disembodied
spirits of a fallen generation before Adam and Eve found in Genesis 1:1-2 -demons need someone to possess or
oppress - Mark 1:21-28 & Matt 8:28-34 -only an unbeliever can be possessed -demons want to neutralize our
spiritual influence........................ (4) DAY - v13 an evil day - the day the enemy
attacks you 2 Statements: 1.) the enemy never gives up his
pursuit of us - 1 Peter 5:8-10 2.) there is no plateau or level of
spiritual maturity that keeps you immune from the devil and his tricks
