The Spirit of Knowledge

2 God Statements

(1) God is knowledge - TRUTH - John chapters 8, 14, 16, 17 and 18

-God has a standard of truth to follow

(2) God is the source of all knowledge - Colossians 2:1-3

-tap into Him

-He knows everything - Psalm 139:1-4

What is the Spirit of Knowledge

1.) It is the ability to have a greater knowledge of Him - Exodus 33:13 & Phil 3:8-10

-this gives you the ability to see from God's perspective

2.) It gives you the ability to praise God - Psalm 34:3 & 69:30

HOW WE PRAISE DEPENDS ON HOW WELL WE KNOW THE ONE WE PRAISE.....................

*Knowledge produces information

*Information produces transformation

*transformation produces magnification

*Magnification produces glorification

3.) It gives you the ability to KNOW some things

knowledge - means the state or fact of knowing; to accept as true beyond a shadow of a coubt;to be absolutely positively sure and certain

a.) We can absolutely know that it is the last hour - 1 John 2:18

-Look to Russia - Ezekiel 38:19-22

1 John 3:1-3

b.) We can absolutely positively KNOW that God hears and answers prayer - 1 John 5:14-15

-prayer is progressive.  It is an unfolding relationship that we enjoy.

-pray in tongues - Romans 8:26-27

c.) WE can absolutely positively know that we are saved - 1 John 5:13

-before anyone is saved, they must realize that they are extremely lost...............
