Ephesians 6:5-9 (1) Victory in any workplace is a
result of being filled with the Holy Spirit - Ephesians 5:18 ***Important
a.) salvation
b.) being and staying filled -being filled with the Spirit at the
workplace a.) one way to be filled is to pray ***IT
KEEPS YOU UNDER
CONTROL
*helps our reactions to be godly *increases the fruit of patience *stops anger *limits frustration *keeps a great attitude flowing *decreases the likelihood of
complaining ***it
removes bad seed planted by the bad seed planter (2) Workplace events are used by God
to reveal what is worng with us -we blame our environment when God
arranged our environment (3) Workplace issues, if not dealt
with and overcome, will continue to follow you and surface -make sure you are where the Lord
wants you -do not run, but be released -the same issues are everywhere v5 - slaves - employees - doulos *willing to do anything *never need to be thanked *submit totally and every time no
matter what *give up all rights *don't own anything at all 3 things all employees need to do in
vs5-6: 1.) do whatever your boss says to do -1 Peter 2:18-19 - whether they are
a good or a harsh boss 2.) highly respect your boss -
through your speech and your attitude fear - means to respect 3.) give maximum effort - tremble -
v5 -have a great work ethic -v6 - don't just work when someone
is watching you v7 - serve your boss as you would
serve Jesus v8 - the Lord is a rewarder -Hebrews 11:6 & psalm 75:6-7 -when there is no reward, look
inward. God is an automatic rewarder v9 - bosses - do not bully;
intimidate; be angry; abuse; threaten -replace this atmosphere with an
atmosphere of coaching, mentoring,correction to learn; love and appreciation
