The 7-Fold flow, function or expression of the Holy Spirit
 
Rev 1:4/3:1/4:5/5:6/Isaiah 11:2
 
-there is only one Holy Spirit who is God, but there are 7 different expressions of the Holy Spirit
 
-They are to build the Kingdom of God - Acts 10:38
 
-they are received through intimacy - John 15
 
 
The Spirit of the Lord upon - rest - means to remain on and settle down upon
                                        -a weight/a tangible manifest presence off the Lord
 
The Spirit of Wisdom - is the supernatural ability to make a decision
 
 
3 Understandings
 
(1) our own understanding - Proverbs 3:5-6
 
-our minds and flesh are at odds with the Lord's mind and plan - Romans 8:7-8,27
 
-Esau and Jacob - represent the flesh vs the spirit - genesis 25:21-28
 
-Make Time become a friend
 
 
(2) The enemy's understanding - John 10:10 & Hosea 4:14b
-the only thing he understands is what kills, steals and destroys
 
 
 
(3) The Spirit of Understanding - Isaiah 11:2
 
definition - the Spirit of Understanding is the ability to put 2+2 together and then come up with a Godgiven thought or plan which then moves you forward in wisdom and creative abilty
 
 
 
a.) Understanding is in God - Job 12:13
-to gain understanding  you  must connect with God
 
-through salvation          -through intimacy                   -through prayer - Psalm 119:26-27
                                                                                               a.) God answers prayer - Lk 24:45 & 1 John 5:20
 
-it comes to your inner man
 
- it makes you happy
 
 
 
b.) Understanding is knowing - Prov 2:1-11 & Isaiah 32:15-17
-understanding will keep you
 
 
c.) Understanding takes time - Daniel 10:10-14
 
sovereign - God can do anything He wants to do at any time with anyone without permission
 
-trust - is not always understanding
