TEMPTATION

     1. We Will All Be Tempted

            - Temptation means a solicitation

              or invitation to do evil

            a. It is an appointment presented

                to do something wrong

            b. We will be tempted, but we don’t

                have to enter into the temptation

                – Luke 22:40

            c. Don’t overestimate your ability to

                resist temptation

     2. The Source of Temptation – Luke 4:13

            - God doesn’t tempt us at all

            - The enemy tempts us

            - We can’t blame anyone else for us

               giving into temptation

     3. The Promise In Temptation

             – 1 Corinthians 10:13

             - We have a promise

                        - Common – temptation occurs

                           in everyone’s life. You

                           haven’t been singled out.

     4. The Consequence of Temptation

            - Gen 2:15-17, Gen 3:1-6

                        - Satan never reveals to us the

                          full picture or outcome of

                          giving into temptation          

                             - The Innocent Get Hurt Also
