David Avery What makes me tick?
Well, first and foremost my relationship with Jesus Christ is the “High Octane” that keeps me running! Next in line would be my
awesome family. I married my beautiful
wife, Lisa, in 1989, and we have two incredible kids, Alyssa and Nicholas. Along
with our killer guard dog, a 9 pound Maltese named Benny, they keep me in line.
The third thing that drives me is my passion to lead Jr Highers! Nothing keeps
you young like hanging with 6th, 7th & 8th
Graders!
Some things I like-
I like Red Bull and pretty much anything made out of meat that I can grill on
the barbecue! My favorite things are
spending time with my family, playing golf, and anything involving sports or
adventure. I’ve gone Bungee-jumping, parasailing, scuba-diving and whitewater
rafting. I also like speed. I have
driven on both the German autobahn and Daytona Speedway... enough said.
About me- I was
in the Air Force for 10 years and traveled to some cool places and to others I
would rather forget about. Now I’m smack in the middle of God’s will and
leading the best group on kids on earth… Junior High! So is this a burning
passion or the beef & bean burrito I just ate? Nope, it’s definitely a passion… to shepherd,
mentor, and serve!
So what you see is
what you get. I am just a breathing,
walking, talking example of God’s grace and love.
Stephanie Seavey I was born
in Columbus, Ohio and moved to FL. when I was 12yrs.old. I attended Safety
Harbor middle school and graduated from Countryside high school . I have 2
beautiful children, Jimmy 13 and Jessica 11,They a awesome and i enjoy spending
time with them. I came to Calvary Chapel Worship Center in 1996 seeking
couseling and found the true,awsome and mighty Counselor Jesus. As He began to
do a work in me, He also opened doors for me, I started volunteering at CCWC in
the 1yr old room and ushering, then the 4-5yrs old room and as time passed I
began to teach with the 1st-2nd grade. I sttarted working at CCWC June of 2002
in Kids Kountry and within 6 months the LOrd opened the door for me to become
full time in the children;s church dept. Throw everything GOD has continue to be
faithful and I have continue to let him lead me and now HE has blessed me with
overseeing Real Life Middle school, The Yard SK8 park, Royal Rangers,
Missionettes and Heavenly Hands Signing Ministry. It has been almost 5yrs since
i have came on staff at CCWC and can't wait to see what GOD has for me in the
